خلاصه مقاله:
With the rapid development of electrical and telecommunication and electrical industries, electromagnetic interference (EMI) has become a serious problem in modern society. It not only causesoperational malfunction of electronic instruments but is also harmful to human health under certain circumstances. Manydiseases, such as leukaemia, miscarriages and breast cancer, are correlated with continuous exposure to EM fields and pulses [1-2].Because of their low cost, light weight, design flexibility resistance to corrosion, and ease of mass production, polymer-based conductive composites are finding increasing use in various advanced technological applications, such as antistatic packaging and EMI shielding [3-4].Three mechanisms have been reported tobe involved in EMI shielding namely: reflection, absorption and multi reflection [2-3-4].The present work, we fabricated EPDM/Expanded graphite (EG) nanocomposites with different loding of EG and we report on the electrical conductivity, EMI shielding, mechanical properties and curing properties of this nanocomposites.
