خلاصه مقاله:
Suspensions and colloids are among important systems which play significant role in various processes, such as polymerizations, polymer mixing and biological processes [1].Population Balance Method (PBM), is one of the many methods used to predict and study the effect of structuraland processing parameters on the aggregates size distribution. Most of available coagulation models are based on Smolochoweski’s researches in 1917 [2]. Equation (1)demonstrate the basic population balance method where n, α, β and t are particles number concentration, collisionefficiency, collision frequency, and time, respectively. As the high volume of the calculations needed for considering the larger particles in this way, the non-uniformdiscretization has been usually used[3]. In this study the effect of agglomerates structure and shear rate as the hydrodynamic factor on agglomerates dispersion was studied
