خلاصه مقاله:
The idea of using an electric field to spin fibers from a charged polymer melt or solution was conceived in the 1930s. Electrospinning, as the process was called, was astraightforward method to produce nanofibers from polymer solutions in a wide submicron range around 100 nm [1]. Thebasic principle of the process involves an application of a highelectric potential (10–30 kV) to a polymer melt or solution across a finite distance between a conductive needle and agrounded collector. In electrospinning, the fiber characteristics are determined by the processing and solution parameters. it can be tailored fornumerous applications requiring different fiber morphologies and sizes. The aim of this study is to determine theeffectiveness of solution temperature on electrospun fibercharacteristics by varying the solution temperature. In the family of synthetic biodegradable polymers polycaprolactone (PCL), with a melting temperature around 55–60 °C and a Tg of – 60 °C is a good candidate for this study.
