خلاصه مقاله:
Infections of microbe have become a social problem. Therefore, safe extermination of microbe is very important to human health care. Chemical biocides play an important role in industrial and environmental applications [1-2]. At the present time, the most commonly used antimicrobial reagents such as chlorine and peroxides, electrophilic agents and organic biocides are not safe. However, these small molecules were highly toxic to the environment and their protection was short-lived due to the difficulty in controlling the rate of diffusion [3]. It is believed that polymeric antimicrobial agents are non-volatile, chemically stable, and do not permeate through the skin [4]. As a result, we have synthesis a polymeric antimicrobial agent in the presence of nanoclay to increase both antimicrobial and mechanical properties of final biomaterial.
