خلاصه مقاله:
Organogels, classified as polymeric and low molecular weight materials. Organogels with the ability to absorb alcohols such as ethanol and methanol has already beenreported [1]. Kabiri et al. reported alcogels based on poly (acrylic acid-co- (2-acrylamido 2-methyl propane sulfonic acid)). They foundthat dissociation of sulfonic acid group enhances alcohol absorbency [1]. Similarly, most acrylic-based hydrogels including poly (acrylic acid) and its salts, poly (2-acrylamido2-methyl propane sulfonic acid) and its salts, as well as polyacrylamide shrink in acetone. In this article, organogels of poly (NIPAAm-co-VPA) with theability to absorb acetone and other organic solvents were synthesized via precipitation polymerization. To the best of our knowledge, such hydrogels have not been reported in the previous literature.
