خلاصه مقاله:
Among organo-conductive polymers, polythiophene derivatives occupy a prime position due to their high conductivity, good redox reversibility, swift change of colorwith the potential, and stability in environment. Conductive polymers can be synthesized by various techniques includingelectrochemical and chemical polymerization [1]. In the past decade, nanostructured conducting polymers have became a rapidly growing field of research, because they display newproperties related to their nanoscale size and have greatly improved the performance of devices [2]. Currently knownconducting polymers are prepared from π-conjugated polymers by a chemical or electrochemical process called doping which enhances the electrical conductivity of thepristine conjugated polymer by many orders of magnitude from the semiconducting to the metallic range (10-7 to 106S/cm) [3]. In this present work, we have synthesized new monomer of bisthiophene derivative and then polymerized this monomer with aldehydes in presence of FeCl3.Characterization of the prepared polymers was accomplished by inherent viscosity, FT-IR, ¹H-NMR, DSC, TGA, UV, AFMand TEM. The conductivity of polymer was measurement by four probe method
