خلاصه مقاله:
Lately, investigation on pollutant absorbents have been changed to an important global subject, since the detrimentalinfluence of toxic water pollutants containing dyes and heavymetals has been established [1]. Natural-based sorbents on account of its low cost, biodegradability and accessibility inextended amount were indicated benefits in comparison to synthetic ones [2]. Hens eggs are used in a large numbers byfood manufacturers and restaurants and the shells arediscarded as waste. The porous nature of eggshell makes it an attractive material to employ as an adsorbent [3].Hence, present study focused on preparation of an effective sorbent to remove of dyes and cations from aqueous solution.In this regard, some hydrogels based on poly(methacrylic acid)/eggshell composites were prepared and their potential for removing of model dyes and cations from aqueous solution was investigated
