خلاصه مقاله:
Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles are applicable in the field of medical care (drug delivery, cancer therapy, MRI), separation techniques and magnetic recording [1-2]. Commonproblems of magnetic nanoparticles are their tendency to agglomerate and chemical instability in air. Surfacemodification of magnetite particles allows bond formation with fluorescent dyes, proteins and polymers for use in biological systems. Polyvinyl alcohol is a biocompatiblepolymer and has excellent film forming properties. In this work we present synthesis of surface modified magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles incorporated into polyvinyl alcohol films
