Polymeric nanoparticles have been of huge interest for scientists in the last decade. Polymeric nanoparticles are prepared by two set of methods. The first set are physicalmethods including solvent evaporation, salt extraction, dialysis, supercritical fluidic technique and the second whichare chemical synthesis methods include microemulsion,miniemulsion, interfacial and dispersion methods. The choice of the system used is based on the characteristicsof polymeric system, final application, the required size, and so on. Due to the very small size of these particles, theirsynthesis can be very sophisticated. In this article, theconditions and the synthesis method of dumbbell nanoparticles is studied
