خلاصه مقاله:
High intensity ultrasound is a useful method for produces free radicals [1]. Recently, there have been several free radical polymerizations via sonication such as emulsionpolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) reported in the literature [2-4]. Also, the popular method for dispersing ofnano particles for preparing nanocomposites is ultrasound. It seems that combination of dispersing and polymerization is a suitable way for synthesizing of nanocomposite [5]. In this study in situ polymerization of methyl methacrylate at presence of nano SiO2 using ultrasound irradiation has been done. Also, effect of ultrasound on the monomer conversion, particle size and on polymerization rate has been investigated
