خلاصه مقاله:
Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are polymeric materials with specific cavities designed for a template molecule, which have been successfully used in several fieldsincluding sensors and enantiomer separation [1]. The procedure involves self-assembly of a template-functionalmonomer complex mediated by covalent and/or non-covalentinteractions, followed by polymerization. After extraction of the templates, complementary recognition sites are left in thepolymer network. MPIs with different templates during their synthesis have a high selectivity towards separation of desiredchemical or biological compounds [2]. Methacrylic acid (MAA) has been used as a functional monomer in noncovalent approach [3].
