خلاصه مقاله:
The production of PET to the soft drinks bottling category in the 1970’s revolutionized container technology for all beverage suppliers. The Coca-Cola Company has been at theforefront of extending this revolution into the use of post consumer R-PET. PET first came to notice in 1950’s as a textile material.However, in the 1970’s it began to be seen as an ideal lightweight replacement for carbonated soft drink glass bottles [1].Applications for recycled PET include fiber, sheet,strapping and bottles. The barrier to increased recycling of PET is more likely to be supply rather than demand for therecycled resin [2]. Types of degradation occurring in re-extrusion of PET fiber wastes can be listed as thermal degradation, thermo-oxidativedegradation, hydrolysis and mechanical degradation [3]. The objective of this study was to understand and improve themelt spinning of Post-consumer recycled PET and to determine the performance properties in various spinning temperature
