خلاصه مقاله:
4-Chloromethyl styrene (CMS) has been copolymerized with many different monomers by the radical method and the resulting copolymers could provide new products bynucleophilic substitutions of the chlorine atom. Some of articles and patents deal with the numerous physical and chemical properties of the chloromethyl styrene polymers and their applications [1]. These polymers with various functional groups have wide potential applications, such as for ionexchange resins, polymer supports of catalysts and resins for microlithography [2,3]. In this work homopolymer of CMS was synthesized by free radical polymerization. Then 2- pyridinecarbaldehyde oxime (poaH) was connected to the synthesized homopolymer. The homopolymer that is modified with 2-pyridinecarbaldehyde oxime can absorb cations such as Cu2+, Ni2+,Cd2+, Co3+, Cr2+ in solutions
