خلاصه مقاله:
Efficient method for the multicomponent synthesis of pyrano[2,3-d]-pyrimidine dione derivatives catalyzed by CuO-CeO2 nanocomposite under solvent-free conditions is reported. A variety of aromatic aldehydes reacted with barbituric acid and malononitrile to afforded the corresponding products in good to high yields and short reaction times. The catalyst can be recovered by simple filtration and recycled up to 6 consecutive runs without any loss in its activity
