خلاصه مقاله:
There are many bonding agents for composite propellants, however; a few efficient bonding agents are available for solid composite propellants with nitramines as oxidizer. Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) is a high energy polycyclic caged nitramines which increase gun and rocket propellants performance. Herein, we synthesis the tri cyanomethyl isocyanurate (TCMIC) as a bonding agent and studied the interaction of bonding agent and CL- 20 as an oxidizer by the means of Furrier infrared spectroscopy. This study showed the noncovalent interactions between TCMIC and CL-20. In addition, Gaussian study was performed to calculation the interaction energy of bonding agents and CL-20 that established the effective interactions. Consequently, this new bonding agent could be considered for using in solid composite propellant based on glycidyl azide polymer (GAP) as the energetic binder and CL-20 as the co-oxidizer with the minimum signature and improved thermal, mechanical and aging properties.
