خلاصه مقاله:
Today’s world is changing rapidly in different paths. These changes can be studied in four parts including: 1) assumption, 2) equipment and method, 3) goal and objective and4) concept. Each of them leads to increase uncertainties, complexityand pervasiveness of technology dependence that offers tremendous challenges, either opportunities or threats, for policy and decision makers. To face these challenges, a novel foresight approach instead of traditional planning approach should be taken, that shows what will happen in future, and the appropriate way to respond them into account. Technology Foresight (TF) is one of tools to address such demands. TF is an approach for exploring, anticipating and shaping the future. This paper aimed at proposing a comprehensive technology foresight model for national and regional purpose and in the case of developing countries. The model is the output of tacit knowledge integrated during participating in science and technology foresight programs in Iran.
