خلاصه مقاله:
Several factors can reduce the durability of a PEM fuel cell including platinum-particle dissolution and sintering, carbon-support corrosion, and membrane degradation, which carbon corrosion is one of the big impediments on the way to commercialize the PEMFC's. In this paper we present a review on carbon support corrosion and its effect on PEMFC performance. We cover some mechanisms of carbon support corrosion, also discuss several effective factors such as carbon support type, temperature, humidity, fuel pressure, potential changes and Pt dispersed on support. Some efforts to improve the carbon-support properties have been suggested as well.
