خلاصه مقاله:
Production of energy from tide is an option today. About twice a day in high as well as low tides, water flows in and out of coasts and estuaries. This water can spin turbines, in order to produce electricity. Tidal energy exploits the natural rise and fall of coastal tidal waters caused principally by the interaction of the gravitational fields of the Sun and the Moon. Tidal energy is a renewable source of energy which does not result in the emission of gases responsible for global warming or acid rain associated with fossil fuel generated electricity. In this research investigated the potential of achievable tidal energy in six important tidal stations in the south coastal zones of Iran (respectively from west to east; Khore-Musa estuary, Bushehr port, Kangan port, Bandar- Abbass port, Jask port and Chabahar port) due to head difference during tide.
