خلاصه مقاله:
This paper is to model an MSF desalination plant. A mathematical model derived from physical principles is applied to describe the steady-state behavior of an MSF plant. The resulting model is able to reproduce accurately the actual operating data and to predict the optimal operating conditions of commercial desalination plants. The plant specification and the simulated data are from an MSF plant in Kuwait. There was a little difference between the real and simulated data. The ASPEN PLUS model is an effective tool to predict the performance of large-scale commercial MSF plants under new operating conditions.
