خلاصه مقاله:
Injection molding is ideally suited to manufacture thin plastic parts of complex shapes requiring precise dimensions. The plastics are extremely complicated thermoviscoelastic that it's cause to the complexity of mold design and molding process determination and difficulty in maintaining to part quality during production. Gate location has great effect on final quality of part and experiments for its determination are expensive for manufacturer. In this paper we used computer aided engineering (CAE) to obtain the value of shrinkage correlated to gate location, mold and melt temperature. Taguchi method was used to predict the optimal gate location, mold and melt temperature.
