خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper the fuzzy controller is designed for static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) to enhance transient stability. The transient stability model of a STATCOM is preserted first. Then Fuzzy controllers are &signed for both main and Supplementary concrollers of the STATCOM. The fuzzy main controller is used the controlling of Bus voltage. The fuzzy Supplementary Controller is designed for controlling of DC capacitor voltage. The Simulink/Matlab software package is used for simulation of test system. In this paper the STATCOM is connected to the 230Kv line for a typical two machine transmission system. This study demonstrates that STATCOM considerably improves transient stability of power system after occurring fault.
