This study administered by the university of Simon Fraster Department of linguistics, Burnaby, is required for anyone who wishes to investigate the use of vocabulary. The vocabulary use in writing investigated in public secondary school. It is based on post-instruction writing and delayed writing .that delayed writing showed no significant loss. Recognition vocabulary of learners, categorized in two groups. Free active vocabulary and controlled passive vocabulary
