خلاصه مقاله:
Students' language learning preferences deserve more attention from their teachers and instructors especially in EFL contexts. By considering these preferences and priorities and optimizing the appropriate strategies, techniques, and activities in the classroom an effective language learning and teaching can be achieved (Bada, 2000). To investigate factors affecting a profound language learning and by considering this reality that vast majority of students studying English in EFL contexts are non-majors, awareness of the students' preferences, assumptions, and attitudes to language learning is of crucial importance. Given opportunity the students to state their preferences about language learning can motivate them to express themselves freely. Definitely, becoming aware of the students' preferences about different dimensions of language learning in the classroom such as the effectiveness of the course contain good hints for those who want to have an effective language learning and teaching
