خلاصه مقاله:
In the world today, the gas pipelines systems to sustain the desired level of human life are essential. Introduction of these systems as vital artery indicates its importance in maintaining the public health and safety. If the gas pipelines, particularly joints of bend and their curves damage in an earthquake, loss of services and products is inevitable. The possibility of such damage to the staff of the relevant installation, environment and the public is directly hazardous, as well. So, in this paper, an intra-city gas pipeline with bend (elbow) has been modeled through Ansys software and review and analyze of the dynamic stress in it by earthquake acceleration records of Naghan and a verity of various factors are paid. The results achieved through this paper are those of the greatest stresses occur in elbow points and the area around it. So, these areas are the most vulnerable parts of the pipelines so that special arrangements should be considered in dealing with earthquake
