In this research, novel blends including new poly (sulfide sulfone)(PPY) and poly (ether sulfone)(PBM) were prepared. The dense membranes based on poly (sulfide sulfone)/ poly (ether sulfone) with composition of ۱۰۰/۰, ۷۵/۲۵ and ۵۰/۵۰ wt% were developed via phase inversion induced method by solvent evaporation. The prepared dense membranes were specified by SEM and AFM. Pure water flux, hydraulic water permeability, and salt permeability were applied to evaluate the process performance of the membranes. According to SEM good miscibility of two polymers was concluded. Water contact angle and water absorption evaluation indicated that the hydrophilicity of PBM membrane improved by incorporating of PPY in the casting polymer solution. The similar result was observed for pure water flux and hydraulic water permeability of the synthesized dense membranes.
