Optimization is a process that finds a best, or optimal, solution for a problem. The algorithms used for solving optimization problems can be very diverse, from conventional algorithms to modern meta-heuristic algorithms. The optimization algorithms developed so far can be broadly classified into deterministic and stochastic.
