In the present work, the capability of the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is examined to solve the conjugate heat transfer problems. Accordingly the governing integro-differential equation occurring in the conjugate forced convection heat transfer over a flat plate is considered. It is shown that ADM can handle the solution of the equation more easily and accurately than other traditional methods such as perturbation method. A numerical approach is also utilized via finite volume method to check the validity of the results obtained by ADM. The results of ADM show closer agreement to the results of numerical method than the results obtained by perturbation method existed in the literature.
