In today's expanding communities and places, closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras are becoming increasingly important for remote monitoring and control. For temporary surveillance or short-term use of CCTV cameras, installation and preparation of CCTV cameras are not affordable. To address this need, we developed a mobile application, named Binoo, that turns an Internet-connected smartphone into a CCTV camera. By using their smartphone, users can easily view the desired location without having to spend extra money.As a major advantage of this application over CCTV cameras, it allows the user to listen to the location's sound in addition to video. In addition to a user-friendly appearance and high security, this application offers a variety of viewing and recording options for audio and video content at different times and of different quality.
