One-dimensional nanoscale materials, such as nanotubes, nanowires and nanobelts, have attracted intensive interest due to their potential applications in optoelectronic devices and the understanding for the chemical and physical phenomena involving size-dependent properties [1, 2]. Aluminum borate is a remarkable ceramic material with high elastic modulus and tensile strength, excellent resistance to corrosion, and chemical stability [3]. Aluminum borate (Al4B2O9) nanowire was synthesized by a self-catalytic growth through a direct reaction between boron oxide and Al powders .The methods frequently result in some remnant boron hydroxide and/or metal impurities appeared on the surface of the one-dimensional nanostructures [4].The transition elements such as iron doped nanosize materials are found to be interesting for magnetic properties
