Gas injection to oil reservoirs is one of the important ways for EOR purposes or pressure maintenance aspects with injecting that to the gas cap.In this study we are looking for the best gas injection rate and location for Azadegan oil field reservoir in order to increase the plateau period. An extended plateau period means having an extended reservoir life, recovering more oil and as a result making more money. Our basis for comparison is length of plateau period. The more extended the plateau period the better the scenario. But what should be taken in to account is the cost of such operations (capital cost and cost for maintenance). It means that extending the plateau period only for few days does not seem rational and economical.This study results that the continous gas injection for this reservoir is not a prominent way for EOR, because of the economical aspect of the process
