خلاصه مقاله:
One of the most promising alternatives to synthetic insecticides for the control of stored product pestsis diatomaceous earth (DE). Laboratory studies were performed to evaluate the insecticidal effects ofIranian formulation of DE (Sayan®) on adults of bruchid beetle, Callosobracus maculatus F (Coleoptera:Bruchidae), at 30±1 ˚C and 60±5 % RH in dark. Experiments were carried out with 4 concentrations (0,20, 60 and 715 ppm) in 25, 30, 35, 40 & 45 ˚C temperatures at 5, 15, 30 , 3, 40 & 45 minute with 6replications. The results showed that with increasing temperature and exposure interval, the imagomortality increased. The combined effect of Iranian formulation of DE and heating increasedthe mortality of pest. So the usage of Iranian formulation of DE with a concentration of 60 ppm andthe heating temperature 40 ˚C for 30 to 40 minutes can be used to protect stored product pests againstbruchid beetle.
