Language is very complex , productive , alive and abstract.The scientific study of language is called linguistic and the study of the relationship between language and the brain is called neurolingustics and also psycholingustic..Although this is a relatively recent term,the field of the study dates back to the nineteenth century.The human brain divided in two hemispheres,the right hemisphere and the left hemisphere and is lateralized,it has specialized functions in each of the two hemispheres. The specific parts in the brain are related to language function.Anterier speech cortex is called Broca s area and the damage to this specific area is related to extreme difficulty in producing speech.The posterior speech is related to Wernike s area.The damage to this part is related to speech comprehension.The damage to the right hemisphere is caused we don’t understand the real meaning of a word or sentences especially the complex sentences. Aphasia has been defined as lack of a type of language function because of some brain hurt in understanding and speech production part . Mostly aphasia appeared with a brain attack or CVA(Cerebral apoplexy) ; other causes may be accident , tumor , infection , poisoning and metabolic and nutritional disorders influencing brain function . Aphasia may have several branches. Each disease differs from others because of several factors such as the place of the damage ,the damage intense and personal specifications. This study was done to study the patients suffering from some hurt in right brain hemisphere and examine and compare the proverb expression , lexical and meanings process speech which are processed in right brain hemisphere and compare with normal individuals . For the study the right brain hemisphere test (Of Bryan , 1995) . Present study is descriptive ,analytic and cross-sectional and each function of right brain hemisphere is assessed according to the sex (Male and female) . In the study the personal data questionnaire was used to register the subjects' criteria to enter in the study and the Bryan's (1995) tests were conducted for right hemisphere .The studies samples included 30 patients (13 female and 17 male ) suffering from right brain hemisphere hurt ; they were of 18 – 70 age and had the least literacy . The study statistics were done into two descriptive and inferential parts and the Kolmogoroff - Smirnoff andYo – Man – Whitney statistical tests were used . The analytic findings indicate that the patients suffering from right brain hemisphere hurt have problems concerning some right brain hemisphere lingustic functions . Considering similar age , sex and education in both studied groups we may expect that the differences in the language functions are because of the hurt .
