خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents a multi-objective design of power system stabilizers (PSSs) using Shuffled Frog Leaping (SFL) Algorithm. The ability of the proposed method for optimal setting of the conventional PSSs has been studied. The PSSs parameters tuning problem is converted to an optimization problem with the multi-objective function comprising the damping factor, and the damping ratio of the lightly damped electromechanical modes. The effectiveness of the proposed SFL-based PSSs is confirmed on a single-machine power system under different operating conditions. The results of the proposed PSS tuned by SFL algorithm is compared with the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based tuned PSS and classical PSSs through nonlinear time-domain simulation and robust performance proposed method demonstrated.
