In this study, at first characterization and types of it were introduced and analyzed. Then, Turner's methods about characterization were stated. After that, researches related to characterization and the similar studies were presented. At the end the analysis of translation of indirect characterization of Glass Menagerie by Williams was presented based on Turner methods. In this study, translation of indirect characterization of characters was analyzed based on their speech, appearance, behaviors, and actions. At the end it was found that translatorhad depicted the TT characters as well as the ST's and he has managed to introduce and show the picture of characters indirectly, which the writer had intended to show
