EGET experience in utilizing low grade coal in coal fired power plant of Thailand is reported in detail and it is suggested that, for successfull utilization of this class of coal in power plant the operation planning has to be started from premining analysis level and continued up to the modification of soot cleaning equipment with fuel optimization by proper mixing ratio.
