Helping English learners become culturally aware of the language they are learning is an essential issue which needs to be studied and developed. Having good cultural awareness which is necessary for effective communication is also very important .This study intended to explore whether using authentic English songs can improve the EFL learners’ cultural awareness. This paper reported the results of a group of female students, aged between 18 to 25, in Tarlak English institute of Bandar Anzali in 2015. The study determined the effect of English songs on the language learners’ cultural awareness. This study was conducted on 20 intermediate level students who had been chosen by the researcher. The language learners took the pre intercultural sensitivity scale. Then, they were exposed to the authentic English songs with cultural points during 5 sessions which were held for about a month and a half. Afterwards, the post intercultural sensitivity scale was administered. The findings showed that use of English songs had a statistically significant impact on language learners’ cultural awareness
