خلاصه مقاله:
objective:The present study investigated the effectiveness of social skills training on adaptive behavior in children slow learners.Method:22 students on the WISC IQ test, were diagnosed children slow learners, adaptive with the low levels of daily living skills and social skills subscales of Vaynlnd scale, with IQ of 70 to 85 and aged 10 to 11 years, were Selected and randomly divided into two groups (11 = n) and control (11 = n) groups. First, each of the subjects Were evaluated by a list of social skills Vaynlnd. The social skills training was administered on the experimental group for 2 months during the 10 sessions of one hour and a half. adaptive behavior scores after treatment programs were evaluated.Results:Data analysis showed that the experimental group after training sessions, have been achieved a significant improvement in adaptive behavior (sum of daily living skills and socialization skills) and social skills.Conclusion: social skills training Increases adaptive behavior of children slow learners
