خلاصه مقاله:
Solvent recovery is an inevitable process in pharmaceutical and chemical industry because of environmental requirements and decreasing of production costs. Solvent recovery by conventional batch distillation is limited by the frequent presence of azeotropic features in the used solvent mixtures. Many methods have been reported for recovery of Isopropyl alcohol from aqueous mixture such as: azeotropic distillation 1, extractive distillation 2 and pervaporation by membrane 3. All of these processes have suffered from some disadvantages such as: requirement of using of extra solvent as an extractive substance or shift the azeotropic point, so need for extra operations for recovery of this solvent; high costs of membrane maintenance and low solvent recovery yield by use of this method
