It is well known that the ionic dyes tend to aggregate in diluted solutions, leading to dimerformation, and sometimes even higher order aggregates [1,2]. The study intended to provideinformation about the role of the glucose (Glu) on the dimerization of thiazine dyes. Glumolecules can interact with themselves, water and with other polar groups present in the dyesthrough the hydrogen bonding and dipole–dipole interactions.
