It is well known that fluoride, a hazardous anion, has several toxicological impacts on humanhealth. The world health organization (WHO) has set a maximum value of 1.5 mg.L-1 forfluorine in potable water [1]. Removal of fluoride ions from aqueous solution usingaluminium alginate as a new adsorbent, is subject of the current study.
