Colouring and Domination are two basic concept in Graph Theory. In this paper, at first we joint these concept and introduce a new concept Dominating 9proper) colouring of graphs. Then we find some properties of dominating colouring and characterize necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of dominating X-colouring for the graphs Pn, Cn, Kn (nЄN) and the cartesian products of the graphs.
