خلاصه مقاله:
In this work, polyester fabric with excellent self cleaning properties under day light irridation have been fabricated by using dye sensitized TiO2 with madder and cross-linkable poly siloxane(Xps) on the fabric. Dye sensitized TiO2 was first made with different percentage of madder at boil. Then The polyester fabric were treated with the sensitized nano material using pad-dry-cure method and photocatalytic activity and self cleaning of coated fabric with dye sensitized TiO2 and pure TiO2 was investigated by degradation of Methylen blue stain under day-light. A complete degradation of Methylen blue in 120 min with TiO2/madder-treated polyester indicated superior visible-light self-cleaning performance as compared to bare TiO2-treated fabric. This fabric with self-cleaning properties can mostly used for in-door application
