خلاصه مقاله:
Simulation of forming process in order to investigate the effects of machinery design and operating condition on product quality and production costs is an efficient andeffective method in polymer processing industries to optimize product quality and cost. Nowadays, evaluation of the polymerprocessing phenomena has an effective role in the production of food, healthy tools, and other fields. In this study, we present simulation results on viscoelastic fluids flows insudden expansion geometry with different expansion ratios. Oldroyd-B, L-PTT, and FENE-P based constitutive equationswere applied, in two-dimensional Cartesian coordinates. The governing equations intransient and fully developed regions were solved using OpenFOAM software
