خلاصه مقاله:
The use of renewable energy has been welcomed because of the intensive development of industry, harmful greenhouse gas emissions have increased, which has resulted in global warming, climatic changes, and increased fossil fuel cost. Solar energy currently represents the most abundant inexhaustible, free energy resources and non-polluting that could be used economically to supply increasing energy demands. The shortage of power supply in Iraq, the profusely sunshine hours throughout the days of the year and the sensible cost of the system all serve as good reasons to acquire and install a solar water heater to meet domestic (Rural household) and industrial needs for hot water. The objectives of this paper are construction system for heating water and assessment the performance of this system. The system consists of three major components: a solar energy collector (a flat-plate absorber), parabolic solar concentrator and a storage tank. This study found that the system efficiency (average efficiency) for three months: April, May and June about 70% according to environmental and design conditions for the solar collector
