خلاصه مقاله:
This study aims to evaluate EFL teachers’ perspectives toward the newly developed Iranian junior high school English textbook Prospect 2 . To undertake this study, 10 male and female EFL teachers teaching junior high school (8th grade) were interested to participate in this study. They were asked one interview question, and a local criteria questionnaire. For interviewing, their voices were recorded and then transcribed verbatim so as to elicit the most common themes. This analysis uncovered teachers positive and negative attitudes toward the book. The results are discussed and suggestions were provided in detail
