خلاصه مقاله:
The basic attributes of electromagnetic forming process are discussed in this paper . In addition , the free compaction of an aluminum tube is simulated as an example of finite element approach. The results of this three - dimensional simulation with simultaneously coupling of electromagnetic and mechanical aspect of process are compared with the experimental results . the main advantages of this simulation in comparison with other works would be the 3-Dbased modeling and the coil geometry which is modeled as a set of separate parallel rings, causing the relatively good agreement in comparison with the experimental results.
