خلاصه مقاله:
Energy Consumption of the desiccant cooling systems is high compare to the other cooling systems. These systems, are driven by low electrical energy and mostly thermal energy which could be obtained by solar systems and that is why makes this system environmental friendly and cost effective. In this study, the potential of using each part of the desiccant cooling system, which is expressed as using the fan to ventilate the indoor air, direct evaporative cooling system, coupled indirect and direct evaporative cooling systems and the whole system operation are investigated in 10 cities during the summer days in Iran. This method investigates the effect of using of each section of the system operates separately and also illustrates the necessity of the desiccant wheel as humidity removal tool in several regions of Iran with various climate conditions. And also, express the potential of using solar collectors to provide the thermal energy for warming up the water flow through the heating coils. The produced warm water will be used to warm up the passing air to regenerate the wet side of the desiccant wheel
