Hydroxyapatite Coated Magnetic Nanoparticle [g-Fe2O3@ HAp] as a biocompatible material is found to be efficient catalyst for the synthesis of −aminophosphonates derived from carbonyl compounds. This heterogeneous catalyst does not require aqueous work-up, additionally catalyst can be simply removed by using an external magnet then recovered.
