خلاصه مقاله:
This paper describes a pioneering method to achieve a highly modified self-clean coating on traffic signs based on SiO2/TiO2 nanocomposite. Addition of Fe-B pair as a co-doppant into the SiO2/TiO2 mixed oxide improved the photocatalytic activity in the region of UV and Vis light. In this research the experimental design is used to show the effect of coating process parameter on chemical and physical properties of self-clean surface. Characterization of the samples is performed by Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and reflectometer. The photocatalyic activity is determined by using Stearic acid and Methyl orange as a model compound for degradation reaction.
