Classification is one of the important issues in statistics. A decision tree is a non-parametric machine learning method to classify data. Two known decision trees are C4.5 and CART. In this paper, we compare the logistic regression model as a traditional parametric model to classify the data and the decision trees C4.5 and CART using two data sets.
